This is where I share the wisdom that a granny, as an elder of the tribe, accumulates in her journey through life. The reach of my mind is wide, and sometimes even a little deep. Sometimes, like Whitman, I contradict myself. Sometimes I wax eloquent. Sometimes I fall on my face. Why not do it in public?

Still Alive
Very tired. Moving slowly. Seeing a doctor on Wednesday because I can't eat.
Oh, I wish I lived nearby to cook for you and help you somehow. I hope you feel better soon. Food is so important to healing, not to mention for the soul. I read today that chocolate heals hearts. :) Please take care and hang in there! Much love,
Sending a big hug your way. Have you ever tried the liquid supplement ENSURE. Sometimes I drink one for a meal during the day. It's good. Ask the doc. Take care.
I hope the doctor can help, and that you can eat more soon. If you're eating just a bit here and there, that's probably why you don't have much energy. :(
Glad you're in Calif. with loved ones. Just the trip itself would be tiring I would think and might take quite a few days of adjustment. Even under the best of circumstances I've found as I'm older that when I've been ill I don't always bounce back quite as quickly as I once did. Be patient with yourself. I do hope the doctor is able to help with the eating issue whether appetite loss or other.
That doesn't sound so good. I so hope the doctor can help you. I do hope it is just your body having to recover from the ordeal of the operations and the move. All my most warmest thoughts are being sent your way.
I hope that the doc can help. Good luck.

Can't eat? Not a good thing. Good luck with the doctor on Wednesday. As ever, I'll be thinking of you.

Feel better soon. We'll be here when you're up to blogging again.
ReplyDeleteWay to go MG. Glad to see you closer to your loved ones! Hopefully the California weather will make your progress faster and better.
ReplyDeleteHang in there, MG! I hope the doc has some quick answers.

ReplyDeleteI hope it goes well at the doc tomorrow. I'm sure the heat isn't helping any either. Be well :)
ReplyDeleteSending love and golden healing light your way. Feel better.
ReplyDeleteNot being able to eat is so frustrating. Gotta get those nutrients into your body!! HAve you tried ENSURE? Or a vitamin milkshake.
ReplyDeleteI hope your doctors visit was helpful. I'm thinking of you and sending positive energy.
ReplyDeletePeace!
