Well, It Got Warmer

You would not believe what is falling out of the sky! SNAIN! Huge globs of wet, wet, wet snow falling very fast because it is very heavy. Yahoo weather says it is 37ยบ and light rain. I believe the temperature. According to Everything 2
Snain is partially (though not fully) melted snow that will most frequently fall when the air temperature is between about 0.5 and 3.5 Celsius (33 - 38 degrees Fahrenheit) .
It is an interesting phenomenon to watch, but I can tell you it is no fun to walk in.

P.S. Bitty and Julie have each tagged me for a meme, and I will do them this week.

SNAIN! I love it J. I guess it's a whole lot better than what we're expecting here in the Midwest....ice, ice baby.

I guess "snain" is just one of those many words Eskimos use for snow, or did you make-up this one? Like the picture to give me a sense of what the snain looks like coming down.

All we used to ever be concened about was whether the snow was soft and fluffy or had enough moisture so we could make snowballs.

Snain is one of those combined words, like spork, that just sort of fits. I've used it forever, but I've heard it forever. Snowboarders use it in real disgust.

Well - it's supposed to be in the upper 70s - low 80s here today. Was 81 on Monday. In the 70s yesterday. Crazy weather, man. Crazy weather. And we're still in a severe drought. But nothing wrong with our environment, oh no.
