Update, Whopper

It worked & it didn't.

I was able to eat half the meal. The best food I've had in a month. But it didn't carry over. However, I was able to eat yogurt & pudding for dinner. & Dale brought me some freshly ground coffee beans to mask other food orders.

I feel a little more like, being able to blog and taking some control of my life. I still need help getting into bed, but I can figure out ways to help.

Glad to hear you're coming along. Sure hope the fast food isn't a conflict with heart surgery recommended diet, but then would assume you'd give serious consideration to that. ;-) Sorry, it's the therapist in me coming out as I've sometimes worked with recovering heart patients, and had to urge them to hang tough trying to stick to their new food requirements.:-) Want me to stop leaving comments??? ;-)

I'm continuing to wish you only the best and a speedy recovery.

Little by little, bit by bit. You have to take it slowly and work back into your life, MG. We are so glad you are able to do that!

What an odd dichotomy. I have been losing my sense of smell and am going to see an Ear,Nose,Throat specialist to see if I can get my smeller working once again!

Hello, dear MG. So glad to find posts from you when I come to check in. The coffee beans are a good idea.

I don't have much to say, just wanted to let you know you're in my thoughts.

MG, I know I left a comment here this morning. Glad to know you are able to eat something. Take it slow and easy!

Joared,
The dietician felt that food I was hungering for was apt to get eaten. & since i"d been eating literally 4 bites a meal, that was good

Hello, Maya's Granny! I've been insanely busy lately and not visiting my usual haunts, so I only just today learned about your troubles.

You are such a dear person; I'm hoping you're fully recovered very soon.
