Shark-fu, at Angry Black Bitch has posted a quick note, in which she talks about our need to recognize our power to make a difference, even when it seems that we have none. For, surely, if we believe that we have none, then we are powerless indeed.So, let us remember that it is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.

Doesn't it sometimes seem as though the world is blasting a firehose at your candle? I'm not there right now, but boy, I have been.
